Victoria Beckham has sparked speculation that she may be reuniting with the Spice Girls.
The 47-year-old fashion designer – known as Posh Spice in the chart-topping girl group – was not part of the last ‘Wannabe’ hitmakers’ reunion tour in 2019, but after filing paperwork at Companies House to declare herself still director of Spice Girls Ltd, we hope that she will be able to find Geri Horner (Ginger), Mel B (Scary), Emma Bunton (Baby) and Melanie C (Sporty) at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee concert.
The televised event at Buckingham Palace on June 4 will be televised nationwide.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “If she wanted to leave the band and didn’t want to perform again, she would have quit as manager last week.
“She would still get her share of record sales, but wouldn’t be involved in any decision-making like touring or performing.
“Victoria signing confirmation papers as director for another year shows she’s still an active member of the Spice Girls.”
The last time the five members performed together was at the London Olympics in 2012.
Victoria’s filing comes days after Melanie C told fans to ‘ask Geri’ about a Spice Girls reunion.
The 48-year-old pop star was playing a solo gig in London when a fan asked about rumors the girls would be reuniting for the Queen’s Jubilee this summer.
She said, “You’re going to have to ask Geri about it. We haven’t discussed it yet.”
The comment followed a newspaper report alleging ‘Say You’ll Be There’ hitmakers had been invited to perform to mark the monarch’s 70 years on the throne.
A source said: “BBC bosses are determined to put on a show to remember and what group is more iconic than the Spice Girls?
“The invitation has gone out and it’s now in the hands of the girls. It’s no secret they regret turning down a similar opportunity for the Diamond Jubilee and they all have deep respect for the Royal Family.
