Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse, 40, took to Twitter yesterday to express his anger at the way those affected by the conflict in Ukraine have been portrayed. She urged her followers to “stop saying Ukrainians are inspiring!!!!!” and suggested that the situation is much sadder than “uplifting”.

She added: “It is not inspiring to see women and children suffering!!! (sic)

“It’s sad.”

The Strictly star also shared a quote from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, which read, “Prove you’re with us, prove you won’t let us go, prove you’re Europeans.

“And then life will prevail over death and light will overcome darkness…”

In response to his outburst on Twitter, @Emijo71 replied, “But the spirit of facing the enemy and not hesitating to resist is admirable.

“I am inspired by the brave soldiers and rescue services across Europe.”

Motsi continued to reveal his thoughts on the Russian invasion of Ukraine on social media.

In view of her 72,000 followers, the professional dancer shares tweets, reacting to the situation in Ukraine.

“It doesn’t feel good!!!!”

Motsi is married to Ukrainian dancer Evgenij Voznyuk, whose parents remained in the country and could not leave.

Motsi and Evgenij have a three-year-old daughter together.

On her Instagram Story, Motsi shared, “This situation also makes me realize how I could never, ever be friends with certain people, friendly, polite, yes but never friends because we care about different things, which is good but also a reminder for me” (sic).
